It was a pain to get the brake dust off of the front wheels.
But uh, it really needed it.

Very nice. As I have them off I am going to ceramic coat my wheels before they get reinstalled.

The previous owner parked by feel, so I need mine refinished before I do anything like that.

Eh, mine are a bit beat up around the lip from the PO as well, but I want to be able to keep them clean easier so I am just going to do it. If I get them refinished it’ll easily come up with the wheel paint anyway.

Must have been August 2019 when mine was last washed. Was going to do it a couple of weeks ago but spent all day on the interior and ran out of time. Then it rained a bunch and I stopped giving a shit again.
It’s not nearly as filthy as you’d expect, and it’s even black. Advantage Raincouver.

Mine was covered in pollen and dust, but it didn’t look *that* dirty other than the front wheels. The Ferrodo pads do a great job of turning the wheels dark gray in a very short amount of time.

Ah, I went Akebono’s all around. Brake dust is pretty much non existent .
I’ve never seen worse than the OE Pagid’s on my BMW though. Those plus basketweaves = sore fingers.

The PO installed them, and I haven't had a reason to remove them.

They’ll run low on dust eventually, lol.

When they stop squeaking, I'll know.

Treat yourself to a good fallout remover. Clean off the excess dirt from all four wheels , by the time you get back to the first, sufficient water will of run off the wheels so the fallout remover won’t run off, apply fallout remover, allow to dwell and react (do not l et dry), then using a detailing brush or set of wheel brushes, get into all the nooks and crannies and then rinse off, rewash wheel and rinse.
